NEVER: stack your Konmari folded items. STOP: rotating your summer and winter wardrobe in and out of storage. If you've Konmaried correctly, your clothes should be able to coexist in the same place all year long. LIMIT: the number of clothes you hang. I thought hanging storage was the best way to stay organized, but Marie Kondo claims that folding (correctly) is a better method. RETHINK: storing folded items on shelves. Instead, invest in drawer storage. If shelving is your only option, place your items so that the long side is parallel to the width of the shelf.
