VINTAGE BEDROOM FOR THREE GENERATIONS

Last week, I shared the living room from my childhood home. This week, I'm sharing my childhood bedroom. Believe it or not, this was also my mother's bedroom growing up! Now, it is my niece's room when she stays at my parent's house.

I can assure you this is not how it looked during my teenage years! It turned into a toy collector's paradise after I left for college. Vintage toys are one of my mom's weaknesses. This room is filled with Steiff animals, vintage Barbies, Sasha dolls, building blocks, books, matryoshka dolls, and much, much more. These toys were all found on eBay, Etsy, at antique stores, or estate sales.

All of the furniture in this room is vintage with the exception of the IKEA side table. The armoire, dresser, rug, and blue velvet chair were found at estate sales, and the wrought iron bed is my childhood bed! The pink damask wallpaper is Colefax and Fowler, the bedspread was made with Liberty of London fabric, and the large portrait is by my mom, Grace B. Keogh.

Are you ready to redo your space? We'd love to work with you!
